Resetting a Flotato app

By default, when you delete a Flotato app, you keep its data around, just in case you want to come back to it later. We do that because this data takes up less space than an email from your pizza delivery company. But if you want to get fully rid of an app's data, you can.

When should I use it?

  1. You want to log out of a web app and can't find the log out button
  2. You're selling your Mac and decided not to format the hard drive or create a new user (it's a bad idea, please reconsider)

How to do it

  1. Go to the app you want to remove settings for
  2. Go to Preferences
  3. At the bottom of the Preferences page, click Erase all data for (app name)

What does it look like?
